Since we want strict data typing we always want to have option strict on. The default setting in visual studio is off, to change that go to tools/Options/VB Defaults and now we do not need to change that setting every time :).
In the express versions of visual studio some of the menus are hidden by default. To display them go to Tools/Settings and select “Expert Settings” and voila! There we have them!
